Anoma Wijewardene
Anoma Wijewardene’s work explores themes of sustainability, identity, and reconciliation, and her practice spans mixed media painting, digital art, sculpture, and video. Her multimedia installations often emerge through collaborations with poets, musicians, political analysts, and scientists. Her Kintsugi installation, which combines music and poetry, marked a milestone as the first solo show by a Sri Lankan artist at the prestigious Venice Biennale.
Anoma has exhibited extensively in London, Venice, Dubai, Sydney, and Colombo, as well as at Sotheby’s Hong Kong. She has earned international acclaim for her thought-provoking exhibitions that bridge the personal and the planetary inviting reflection, healing, and collective stewardship of our fragile world.
